Just wanted to let folks know he survived the surgery; when we know how it has affected this problems he had with pain I will let everyone know. Thanks for those who sent their well wishes; yesterday was a rough day!

I plan on trying to get a hold of my Dad this evening for an update and will post whatever I learn. I pray I do not have to go through the ritual last night of calling from out of state after hours to get patient information, if took many transfers, explaining I was his son from out of state who was worried sick, pleading, begging, etc. before they got me up to the nurses station on his floor and I could get the nurse supervisor.
I barely slept a wink last night!
Wonderful news Chris. Will be thinking of both of you. I do hope the desired result has been acquired.
