Monday I got home after work wanting to do nothing more than feed the cat and rest my back. The plows had been by after I left for work and the streets were semi-slushy because the temps had gone above freezing for so long Sunday.
Well, during the day the temp dropped and the winds blew fast and furious all day so when I got home from work I found a 3 foot wall of solid ice in the bottom of my driveway.
With my sore back I alternated between using the snow blower and a shovel to break up the ice. Took me an hour to clear the driveway so it could be driven over.
