You're as cold as ice.......

In the teens last night and 20's this AM and while it snowed north of here (80 schools in the closings and delay lists as I was getting ready for work) outside everything was covered under a solid sheet of ice. A slight tap of the gas pedal to start me out of the garage was all I needed to slide all the way out into the street! The main roads were a bit better but the radio rapidly regaled me with tales of icy sliding accident terror involving those who cannot drive safely!

Cuzin John, first off I am pleased to have you visit me blog and hope to see you back!

As too the personal life on display angle, for friends (of which you are) and family I have no problem, nor do I for anyone curious enough to look on. It helps fill my time and allows me a forum to say what's on my mind.

I have heard of Temperance MI but have not visited there, MI is a BIG place!

Enjoy your ham sandwich, though it is NOT Taylor Ham!! :)

Again good hearing from you!

take care

Chris,

I was considering complaining about this 60-degree weather--having ventured out to put something in my vehicle--when I read your post! Yikes! I shall not complain!

The sky has cleared, the sun is bright, and it is warming quickly, but I am still shivering from the image your words created!

Rain. Now sleet. We are supposed to get 2-4" of snow. Roads are just as icy. Coming home slid as I was turning towards the entrance of the development.

David - I have often envied you your weather! Once in awhile it is bad, and you have the terrible rains every so often, but, it is 99% of the time warmer than it is here! However, complain away!

Things we complain about are from our perspective, while I do not think your weather is so terrible, to you it certainly is!

Take care my friend!

Barry - GOod to hear from you though sorry to hear about the weather! At least this morning (other than feeling sick) all I had to contend with was the cold, no frown rain or icy spots to deal with! How's the new house going??

take care!
